RZ21 - The dropping of the wig wearing requirement ammendment

WHEREAS, The Organic Law, 1997, Article XV, Section 14, states "Justices and all other judges shall wear judge’s wigs while exercising judicial power"; and,

WHEREAS, a guiding principle seems to be "having laws that do not correspond with reality is not a good thing"; and,

WHEREAS, said judge’s wigs are not readily available and are expensive probably as a result; and,

WHEREAS, as a result of the aforementioned "whereas", it has been stated by one of the judge’s that wigs are not worn;

THEREFORE, , the Ziu hereby instructs that a vote be taken in a public referendum, at the earliest possible opportunity, to delete the provisions of The Organic Law, 1997, Article XV, Section 14, in its entirety.
