WHEREAS certain Talossans have Dandelions AND,

WHEREAS these Talossans are citizens of Talossa, and so are their kids AND,

WHEREAS these Talossans are in most cases married AND,

WHEREAS in none of these cases is the spouse of these Talossans also a Talossans
despite the fact that their spouse and their kids are citizens of this country,
they are not in any way AND,

WHEREAS this means that their minor child is a member of an organization that
they are not a member of and this can worry several parents AND,

WHEREAS in at least one of these cases, the spouse has a Wittenberg account and
exchanged messages on Wittenberg AND,

WHEREAS immigration is in reform and wants to allow easier citizenship for prospective AND

WHEREAS a prospective who is married to a Talossan and the parent of a Talossan poses almost
no threat to the country AND,

WHEREAS such a prospective is usually known to all Talossans by reputation, and knows
all Talossans by reputation too and often even in person or on the phone,

THEREFORE, the Ziu resolves that :

Any prospective who is legally married to a Talossans, and the parent of at least one
Dandelion can bypass all the steps of the laws of immigration, regardless
of the current law on immigration, except the Ziu vote on Citizenship, the Cort decision
and, if required by law, a proof of identificition as long as that prospective presents
himself or herself personally on Wittenberg.

Statute

WHERAS the Secretary of State is probable the most crucial job in the government since it holds responsablity over the legislative and electoral process AND

WHEREAS the newly elected prime-minister can issue prime-dictates as soon as he is sworn in AND

WHEREAS this may occur prior to the completion of the post-election process and prior to seat distribution AND

WHEREAS this may cause two individuals to be responsable for an election, possibly causing confusion or errors AND

WHEREAS the clark is published with information collected in the previous month,


THEREFORE the ziu

Resolves that except in cases where the current Secretary of State is no longer able or elligle to perform his duties, any nominations of a new secretary of state must take effect on the day of the normal publication of a Clark.

If the normally scheduled Clark is not published by the previous Secretary of State on the appropriate day, the new Secretary of State can still start his duties, starting with the publication of the clark.

Statute

WHEREAS mistake frequently occur in the initial of a party on a ballot AND

WHEREAS certain parties, such as the GREY party who became the GCP party changed their initials AND

WHEREAS in other cases, two parties have merges together officially AND

WHEREAS in at least two cases a party received votes and was later hijacked by another person who registered the party to retrieve the votes AND

WHEREAS a voter should not lose a vote or worse, have a vote stolen when the intent of the vote was clear, but different than expressed on the ballot


THEREFORE the Ziu resolves that :

1. The name or abbreviation of a political party applying for registration must not resemble the name or abbreviation of another party. There is a resemblance between party names or abbreviations when, in the opinion of the Secretary of State, there is a risk of confusing them. If the party intends to adopt Talossan and English versions of its name, both versions must be submitted with the application.

2. If during an election to the Cosâ, an elector mistakenly write or type the name or abbreviation of the party he intent to vote for and that in the opinion of the Secretary of State the intention of the voter was clear, the Secretary of State may appropriately correct the vote. Any electors may contest this in Cort.

3. Two or more registered parties may apply to the Secretary of State to merge their parties and become a single registered party. If during an election to the Cosâ, an elector vote for a party that has reported a merge to the Secretary of State prior to the election, the Secretary of State may credit the vote to the new party. Any electors may contest this in Cort.

4. If during an election to the Cosâ, an elector vote for a party that is not registered, and that this vote cannot, under this Act, be attributed to another party, this vote shall be considered

Statute

Whereas, Talossa has not yet established the position of Postmaster-General,
and

Whereas, this title of Postmaster-General will bring a certain amount of
dignity to Talossa, and

Whereas, other nations besides Talossa operate postal systems, and

Whereas, Mark Hamilton is the lone postal worker in Talossa and has a
general interest in all philatelic and postal matters,

Therefore, the Ziu hereby grants unto Mark Hamilton the title of
Postmaster-General of Talossa. This position of Postmaster General is to be
purely honourary and ceremonial in nature until such a time as Talossa may
be in a position to operate a postal system.

Statute

WHEREAS, Justice Matthias Muth has graciously offered his resignation
from the Uppermost Cort after six years of service to the nation, and

WHEREAS, There thus exists a vacancy in the Uppermost Cort, and

WHEREAS, as King of Talossa, under Article XV, Section 4, the heavy
burden of nominating a replacement rests upon me,

THEREFORE, We, Robert I, by the grace of God, King of Talossa, etc.
etc. etc., do hereby resolve to place the solemn trust of the Talossan
nation in JOHN A. JAHN, who has served with distinction and
professionalism in all his many Talossan callings, but especially in
that of an Uppermost Cort Justice; and

THEREFORE, We do hereby nominate JOHN A. JAHN to take his place once
again on the Uppermost Cort, in the seat he himself vacated to make way
for Matthias Muth in 1997.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

Done this, the 30th day of October in the Year of Our Lord 2003, and of
the Independence of Talossa, the Twenty-Fourth.
