WHEREAS a Living Cosâ is bound to be fun; and
WHEREAS fun is important; and
WHEREAS TalossaFest '98 promises to be the largest gathering of Talossans since, well, forever; and
WHEREAS that can mean only one thing;
THEREFORE the Ziu hereby calls for a Living Cosâ to convene during TalossaFest '98.

WHEREAS there may come a time Talossa might need to count on a micronational ally; and
WHEREAS Talossa has no real micronational allies to speak of; and
WHEREAS a strong group alliance can be a strong tool in the diplomacy of the micronational world;
THEREFORE we hereby commission the formation of the Ephemeral State Treaty Organization, to consist of Talossa and her allies (whoever that may be). A committee to set up and determine the rules of this organization (to be known colloquially as ESTO) is also commissioned, to be staffed with any interested party in the RT. If peace is the ultimate goal, then it must be attained through strength.

WHEREAS the Kingdom of Triparia has shown the Kingdom of Talossa no hostility or ill will; and
WHEREAS they have also conducted themselves fairly and in a way we can find no problem with; and
WHEREAS recognition of such a nation may be the stepping-stone to future friendship;
THEREFORE we hereby formally recognize the Kingdom of Triparia.

WHEREAS Talossa is in dire need of an official Rock Band, dude; and
WHEREAS the Violent Femmes are known for their quirky, intelligent pop-rock music; and
WHEREAS the Violent Femmes are from the Greater Talossan Area;
THEREFORE we hereby name the Violent Femmes the Offical Talossan Rock Band. Let's all dig "Kiss Off."

WHEREAS the Empire of Reunion has shown the Kingdom of Talossa no hostility or ill will; and
WHEREAS they have also conducted themselves fairly and in a way we can find no problem with; and
WHEREAS recognition of such a nation may be the stepping-stone to future friendship;
THEREFORE we hereby formally recognize the Empire of Reunion.

WHEREAS the Kingdom of Lectoria has shown the Kingdom of Talossa no hostility or ill will; and
WHEREAS they have also conducted themselves fairly and in a way we can find no problem with; and
WHEREAS recognition of such a nation may be the stepping-stone to future friendship;
THEREFORE we hereby formally recognize the Kingdom of Lectoria.
