Repealing

11RC1 - The Abolish the Cestoûr Council Act

WHEREAS Talossans do not wish to let non-Talossans decide our future and,

WHEREAS the ultimate goal of the Cestoûr Council is to let non-Talossans have some say in how our political system works and,

WHEREAS an election was held in December which allowed the Cestoûrs themselves to vote and,

WHEREAS they voted with a 100% majority that the Cestoûr Council be abolished and,

WHEREAS the Cestoûr Council itself urges its own abolition (see the Address to the Whole House) now,

THEREFORE the Cosâ hereby repeals 8RC9 of November 1988, and abolishes the Cestoûr Council.

In order to sit down and discuss like civilized human beings the various crises and stuff that face us, the Cosâ hereby authorizes the holding of a Living Cosâ during the month of April to vote on the April Clark. John Jahn is commended for his job at the last Living Cosâ and is nominated for the Speakership.

RZ4 - Another Foreign Policy Statement

Repealed

On behalf of the Kingdom of Talossa, the Foreign Minister is hereby instructed to utter in a serious and appropriately modulated tone of voice the following discourse:


"Devotion to one's nation should not be one's most important political obligation. Such devotion is dangerous and impedes human solidarity and the Kingdom of Talossa categorically shits upon it. To avoid the charge of hypocrisy, we Talossans affirm to the world that if we take Talossa to be a nation, we also affirm that our 'nationality' is disposable and that it does not claim any unconditional loyalty from us."


If the Foreign Minister can get to New York before this government collapses, he should utter this discourse in earshot of the United Nations. Otherwise, he may wait for a fine spring-like day before going outside to declaim it.

RZ5 - The One More Book Act

Whereas I do not have a complete collection of all Clark bills passed, and I would not like to write a bill that is already a law, Therefore the Cosâ hereby orders the Secretary of State to compile all laws into one book which will be sold to the public at cost. It would be nice if the Constituziun were included in the book, but it is not necessary.

RZ12 - The Recognition of Lithuania Act

Seeing as how the people of Lithuania have chosen democracy and freedom, and that the Soviet "incorporation" of it and other Baltic States was a reprehensible act of violence and tyranny, Talossa hereby recognizes Lithuania as an independent nation, sovereign in every way.
