The Talossan Year begins on the 26th of December, and the current year (ending next 26 Dec) is the year VIII of the Kingdom. Today's date will henceforth be written: "Wednesday, October 21st, 1987/VIII." The abbreviation "A.R.T." is the equivalent to "A.D." and stands for "Anno Regni Talossae."
